Commerce & external manufacturing terms

Version 2026-09-16-v1 · Published September 16, 2026.

These terms cover the optional external manufacturing and commerce service. They supplement the platform subscription terms and do not replace mandatory consumer protections. You can save or print this page for your records.

1. Who does what

The store identified in the product listing and checkout is the seller. The seller chooses the product, selling price and descriptions, confirms the intended use and included parts, and is responsible for its customer relationship, required disclosures, taxes and obligations applicable to its sales.

Genform provides software and acts as a technical and commercial intermediary: it enables design and storefront tools, transmits order information, coordinates payment and external fulfillment, and helps route support requests. Genform does not itself manufacture the physical products or transport shipments.

Independent production partners perform manufacturing, and external carriers perform delivery. Manufacturing performance, production capacity and carrier operations are provided by those parties. This allocation of tasks does not exclude liability for Genform's own acts, omissions or obligations, nor any responsibility or remedy that applicable law does not permit the parties to exclude.

2. Seller onboarding and opting in

External manufacturing is optional and must be enabled for each product. Before a seller publishes a product with that option, the seller must accept these terms, upload a representative production file, review the reference estimate and affirmatively accept the selling price and estimated costs. A saved draft, account connection or unchecked consent box is not acceptance.

Genform records the accepted version, workspace, authenticated user and date, together with the reference file identity and accepted estimate. Changing the selling price or re-enabling fulfillment requires a new estimate acceptance. Turning fulfillment off stops new purchases through this service; it does not cancel orders already paid or submitted.

3. Reference estimates and final purchase totals

A publication estimate applies to the uploaded reference model, displayed material, quantity and destination. It is indicative and valid for acceptance until the displayed expiry. Acceptance does not place an order, charge money, reserve production capacity or guarantee that every later customization will cost the same.

The final design and destination are quoted again before purchase. The buyer sees the product price, shipping and total before authorizing payment. If production and estimated processing costs are not covered by the seller's price, checkout is blocked. A new total requires a new review; a reference estimate does not authorize an undisclosed additional charge to a buyer.

Product descriptions identify exclusions such as hardware, electrical parts, assembly or other services. The seller must not describe excluded parts as included. The buyer should review the final configuration and included items before ordering.

4. Separate costs and seller earnings

The buyer pays the seller's unit price multiplied by quantity plus the displayed shipping amount. Seller earnings equal that payment minus external manufacturing, shipping and actual checkout processing fees, before any taxes or adjustments legally due. Genform currently covers the separate seller payout fee. No withdrawal schedule of an external production account is a promise about seller payout timing.

5. Orders, production and delivery

A return from a payment page alone does not confirm payment. Genform verifies payment before attempting to fund external production. Production begins when the external provider accepts the paid order into its production process. A failed or uncertain funding request places the order in review rather than confirming manufacture.

Production and delivery dates are estimates unless a binding commitment is expressly displayed. Delays or defects may require investigation with the seller, production partner or carrier. The seller and Genform must still perform the support and other obligations imposed on them by applicable law.

6. Cancellations, defects and refunds

Request cancellation as soon as possible through the seller or Genform support. Operational cancellation may be possible before production is allocated or started; a request is not confirmation of cancellation. After allocation or production, a manual review may be necessary and cancellation may no longer be available.

For missing, damaged, defective or incorrect goods, contact the seller or genform.us@gmail.com with the purchase reference and relevant details. Completed-order refunds require review with the external provider. Its internal approval process does not override a consumer's statutory right to a refund, repair, replacement or other remedy.

These terms do not impose a blanket “no refunds” rule or require a consumer to waive mandatory rights. Any rules specific to customized goods apply only to the extent permitted by the applicable law and disclosed before purchase.

7. Information needed to fulfill an order

Order specifications, the production file and the contact and delivery details needed for fulfillment are transmitted to the relevant production, payment and delivery service providers. Sellers must have authority to supply that information and to use the uploaded design. Do not upload unrelated personal or confidential information.

External providers are described by their function in the ordinary purchase flow. This does not prevent disclosure of their identity where legally required or needed to handle a request or claim.

8. Acceptance, changes and contact

The seller accepts during onboarding and when approving a reference estimate. The buyer separately accepts the purchase terms and included items before continuing to payment. Acceptance is recorded against this version and the relevant estimate. A changed version requires a new affirmative acceptance for new transactions.

Existing accepted orders retain their recorded terms. No clause changes the statutory rights or mandatory jurisdiction of a consumer. Questions and complaints can be sent to genform.us@gmail.com.
